ELECTRICAL FIRE - Massena Fire
responded with Engine 28 to Evergreen
Memorials on Maple Street for a fire in an
electrical panel. Power was cut to the
area and an electrician called.
April 30, 2008:
DRYER FIRE - Massena Fire
responded with Engine 30 and the tanker to
62 Highland Road for a reported dryer fire.
Upon arrival the cause was found to be an
electric heater which had malfunctioned and
caused a breaker to trip.
April 30, 2008:
STRUCTURE FIRE - Massena Fire
responded shortly after noon today for a
reported structure fire. Upon arrival
firefighters located the fire in the home's
attic. The fire was quickly knocked
down and brought under control with only
minor damage to the home. Fire
investigators determined the cause to have
been an electrical malfunction.
